I’m Edward Tomassetti, a wildlife biologist and Ph.D. student at Texas A&M University with interests in population, movement, and spatial ecology. My work focuses on understanding wildlife populations, how animals move across landscapes, and how that information can support better conservation and management.
But Walk Well & Wild is about more than research.
This is where I bring together wildlife science, fieldwork, teaching, travel, photography, faith, and the questions that tend to follow me along the way. Some days that means writing about research; other days it might mean hiking through a national park, chasing a sunset, thinking about our relationship with the natural world, or simply sharing something that made me stop and look a little closer.
